Spotlight Of The Week- Air Jordan V Premium
New releases – Spotlight of the week
Each week at Lonely Star there will be a new release in the spotlight which is at the centre of attention! In two days, on 22nd April – the Air Jordan V Premium will be released, pictured below. It’s got the leather, it’s got the encapsulated air, it’s got the rubber out sole and it’s got a retail price of $400 (£330). When the Jordan first hit our shelves in the 1980s, they were going for around $65, but oh how times change…
These kicks have the similar signature look at first glance, but there are some important differences. These new premiums are leather all over, the mesh is gone from the previous release into a woven leather and works its way into the tongue of the shoe, it has the ‘Air Jordan’ logo under the tongue, has all-new rope laces as well as the all-new lace lock. So yes, premium shoe, premium price.
The design for this Air Jordan was inspired by the P51 WWII fighter jet, which is where Tinker Hatfield. The shark teeth design features subtly on the side of the shoe as well as the dust bag, adding a unique finish to the shoe.
The overall design is sleek, elegant and it sure is quality; for a full review check out this link
